Unfortunately it is now a definite no for me as I will be in the south west praying for some sunshine.

I was planning on going to the PH Sunday Service at Blenheim Palace but since you have to pay to attend and it means an early start I'm not going to go. If this is going ahead I'll attend in the B5

I hope that I have not caused confusion and if so I apologise. I only suggested that you meet at the Fox at North Waltham, but not as a gathering separate to the general BMWCC Club meet which is on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.

By coincidence there are at least 5 people who attend this meeting on a regular basis who own Alpina cars and other BMW/Mini.

Perhaps the way to organise a gathering is for you to be in touch with Simon Alcorn who is the register chairman and lives in Hampshire. Then perhaps something could be coordinated, otherwise why not come along to the pub meet at around 7 pm and we can all have a chat about it?

I guess you could still go there, but I am not to sure how busy it gets at a weekend as I only go on a weekday. I really only said this as opposed to a motorway service station which is chargeable after 2 hours.

No need to apologise, just a simple misunderstanding. I did indeed think you meant meeting at the pub as opposed to joining the regular meeting on the 3rd Tuesday.

I have nothing against the regular meet and agree that ideally we should support it.
This one off meet up started out as an informal weekend meeting with Jim & Barry and I thought I'd offer it out to others, but appreciated the original venue was perhaps not ideal. Your venue suggestion appealed.

I'll speak to the landlord and confirm this existing plan is workable. If I can I will try and attend the next monthly meeting on a Tuesday, but generally during the week is tricky for me.

I am sorry I did not mean to cause confusion, the chap to speak to is the manager called Russell. They do have a grassed area next to the car park and sometimes they allow cars to be parked there. It might well be worth having a chat to Simon, he is busy with Car Fest this week. There are 3 or 4 ALPINA owners that go to the pub who are much nearer than me they are from around a 10-20 mile radius of the pub. I am 55 miles away.

To be honest we do not get loads of people at our pub meets or even to join in anything, it just does not really happen, therefore anyone who comes along is welcome. There have been a few events and things organised from the pub crowd but these are fairly low key. However I am sure people are open to suggestions.
