Saw that this morning too.

BC Racing do a very nice kit (IMHO) for the E34 as well, fitted a set to my E34 Racing Dynamics K38 Track Day toy a couple of years ago. Top adjustable with spherical bearing adjustable camber plates as well.

The only down side with all these kits you have to cut up your original front strut cases and weld the new tubes to the stub axle, I think GAZ will do this for you for a fee, so might be worth buying a S/H set to do that to as I did.

Set on ebay at the moment here

So today i picked up all the history for this

Image

Image

Its pretty exhaustive for its UK history and there is a little german stuff. All the import papers etc Martin Pearse of MCP originally imported the car over in 1999 it seems

The first UK owner after that was super anal, from the last MOT, the Bi turbo engine has covered about 125,000 KMS which is about 77,000 miles so google says. Thats mega low milege for the 13! Receipts in there for a clutch on 93k (phew) and two new turbos on about 100k. So upon inspection of both i might be onto a stronger start with this one!

I've been busy collecting parts also

Image

This box came from Holland from a very nice man who has sent me a LHD M5 steering box, its less turns lock to lock and i noticed this as a big difference compared between driving my old bi turdo and the M5

Image

Image

The inner pervert in me LOVES door blinds! So i was lucky a guy in latvia sold this kit to me with all the little NLA bits and i had these door cards in stock and its all in matching black!! Result so this rear door blind retro fit should be much easier than i did on the M5.

Also some Racing dynamic anti roll bars, they're thicker than the M5 stuff and adjustable so never a bad thing. I've also got a retro fit heated rear seat kit! ideal for this car as the front seats are heated

I need to arrange pick up but Phil Crouch is on holiday where the car is stored. I'm in no real hurry as i'm on a good roll with the E30 and this will be a distraction! I'm trying to sell off a load of stuff i'm not going to use. I've a fair amount i didn't realise just quite how much spares i'd got for the old M5 and E36 i just sold

Interesting indeed.

Imagine how difficult it will be in the future finding information like this in the archives thanks to photobucket ruining all old threads with hosted photos

This is going to make me go very grey haired! Its hard to know where to start tbh, as eveything is so muddled up and bits missing. Bulk of it seems to be there....i'm not quite worried its quite a mistake that i sold 2 uptogether old cars for this  I could get buried in it though. I've just the van to drive at the moment so missing having a car i can drive! First world problems

thanks to my mate Henry for towing it home a V6 toureg is quicker than my T5 towing an E34!

Looking forward to the thread :D

You won't be surprised to know that the vacated space at CPC has already been filled

I think it was Hap from what i've been told. Phil looked after it long before it was crashed. It did have smoked hella headlamps and tail lamps which are a bit marmite

No surprise there Charles, mans a loon with some of the work/cars there. There a whole row of stuff on left all need shifting on.

It looks epic in white, i would re-shell it back to the way it was but i know you love your tourings.
Best of luck with it!

True, a nice e34 in white looks great. Part of me thinks this will be worth more in a touring shell though?

More so than if it was re done into another white saloon. It wouldn't be complete as the alpina recaro leather seats were stolen by a nice aussie!
