Wow! I sat in the new 7 series last year which looked amazing, the B7 takes it to another level.

Blimey that didn't last long. I was talking to Gary about this car at the Sytner meet and it was reportedly in the region of £150k new so taking profit in to account it's lost at least £50 per mile!!
Regards,

James

So what's occurred here? Someone bought it from Sytner, ran it for a few months covering 600 miles and now is selling up?

I will end up buying that B7
But when's it's 2 to 3 years old, I've got my eye on it,
And when it's depreciated a lot more,
50k will be nice,

As long as the next owner doesn't plan on having it as a "keeper". This maybe the last time this car is for sale for a long time. Time will tell....

Not sure why the gent sold it? My understanding was he was from the Cleveland area and owned or ran a Plant hire business? It is interesting that Sytner did not buy it back?
He may, of course not offered it to them, or that might be an indicator of how difficult the B7 market is at 100K plus?
The real difficulty is that whilst it has depreciated rapidly, it has not depreciated enough to interest this B7 owner and nor Mr Singh.

It would be a fantastic buy for the keeper or long termer as suggested, a car that even in 10 years will still be fantastic and I assert those which are 10 years old now, still are?

However a lot of money to surrender in a very short space of time.

Quite cheap compared to the B7 LWB a customer I was talking to in Geneva had just ordered.
He had ticked most boxes and was paying a cool 215000 euros.
Had his previous 2 year old low mileage B7 LWB up for sale for a bargain price :D

Confirmation today
The Alpina B7 only sold for £124,000 Brand New @ Sytner Nottingham
New owner more than likely would have claimed the VAT back, at least 20k
So the original first owner might have not have lost anything
But wonder why he changed his mind on the car
