A big thanks to Neil, Gary and everyone who attended

Post by v8 ego » Sun Apr 30, 2017 7:22 pm

Massive thanks to Neil and Gary Lott for arranging the day today. I had a great, if somewhat knackering, time running around noting all of the car that attended.

I will be totting up the details and will post some pictures in due course.

Nice to see some old face and meet some new ones.

I was the one running around with a camera and notebook in case you can't make the connection :D

We left just before the drive and got home the 156 miles in a little under 3 hours.

Cheers all.
Regards,

James

As above our very many thanks to Neil, Charles and Gary for such an excellent day, the highlight of which was meeting Andreas again, an absolute top man.

Fantastic pottle in the countryside followed by an excellent meal with good company.

Thanks again to everyone who made us feel welcome, a pleasure meeting you all and looking forward to future events already

Echoing the comments here, thanks to Neil, Charles and everybody for organising. Was great to put some faces to names, especially fellow B5 owners Les and Chri who I'd spoken to on the forum and FB group. Some great cars on display, nice mix of old and new.
Stewart and I had our own spirited drive after following a B10 not in the convoy

Nice meal to end the day and an easy drive back down south, got home about half 9.

Looking forward to the pics, see you at the next one.

Thanks for all the comments, it was great to see everyone and all the cars in one place.

I've woken up to a very wet Nottingham so someone likes us!

Thanks James for being our official auditor, I look forward to the report :)

Thanks to Gary, Andreas and Jonathan and Sytner Nottingham staff in general for their support.

Finally many thanks for everyone for making the time to come and join us
