This Friday here.....

http://www.freewebs.com/wheelsday/

I've just spoken to one of the organisers and hes quite excited at the prospect of a couple of Alpinas turning up (my mate has a B9) as they are looking for more automotive diversity this year.

It would be great to meet other forum members from the area so would anyone else at a loose end on Good Friday like to turn up and swell the contingent.....?

Maybe meet up and convoy in ?

Mark :)

We are looking at getting there sometime before 8:30 as there will probably be quite a few vehicles queueing to get in for a 10:00 start!

Was nice to meet Mark and Grant for the first time, and Pete again. Was a very good day, weather simply couldn't have been better. A lot of people were interested in the 3 Alpinas, which was superb considering they were surrounded by some of the maddest and baddest hot rods you could ever imagine!

I've emailed the pics in, so should hopefully see them up soon. Teaser:

Welcome to the forum Martin, thanks for posting the piccy of my car. What car have you got and where exactly in West Berkshire are you? I'm on the Hants/Berks border in Tadley.

Pete
What a coincidence, I'm in between Tadley and Aldermaston on the A340, more or less opposite the AWE west gate.

I hope to be able to get an Alpina towards the end of the year, maybe an E46 B3, money depending!

Love yours though, I always liked that shape 5 series.

Cheers

Martin

Only because I keep cleaning them  That bleeding wet n black stuff keeps going all over them on trips! :D

Absolutely loved Mark and Pete's cars, it has made mty mind up to get another Alpina when I move house, probably about a 10-12 year old B12 or even an older classic like Pete's B9 as a weekend plaything/project, with a totally un-eco friendly engine of course! My D3 remaining my commuter-mobile.
