Great meet, fantastic cars, and above all great owners. Why can’t politics and religion just share the same common ground as ALPINA enthusiast: to be civilised, appreciate things, and just enjoy life, but unfortunately and a shame that life is not as simple as seeing things through rose-tinted glasses.

However

It was good and finally met Hap after all these years. Not recently but throughout the years we texted and chatting on the phone a few times.

It was great placing forum names to faces, and having a good and enjoyable chats with new and regular members. There were a couple of the regular members who I did not speak too – hope you didn’t mind me not saying Hello

Enjoyed the drive and glad I was in the middle as the view ahead of me and behind (apart from when the Audi was in the convoy in-front of me for a short-bit) had an amazing set of ALPINAs.

There was also another highlight for me

Also as mentioned to some members, I did watch Line Of Duty finale and what better way to end an incredible day. If anyone is a fan and not watched already, then you do need to watch it on catch-up as it was great episode.

That's cool Hap

I asked several people and finally asked Simon and he pointed you out. Simon also said the same to me about both of your e30 zone days.

Way off topic: The writer is certainly giving that impression - as there are some subtle clues there. However it will not make sense because of the higher ranking officers who have been arrested previously - he would have watched their backs unless he is indeed the mastermind and playing everyone  Looking forward to series 5

Perfectly justified given the distance you travelled.

Alpina meet Nottingham 30 April 17

Post by Norrie » Thu May 04, 2017 10:23 pm

Firstly, great and thanks to all those involved with organising and supporting by turning out.

Perhaps now a time for a new venue with more room and less disruptive to Sytner moving cars etc. Perhaps a location where there is something else going on but would not over shadow this event?

might be good to find an event that we could all display as thealpinaregister?

Just a thought, but not taking anything away from a great day.

I got there around 1.30 so that was pretty unfortunate!
