Warwick/Leamington meet

Post by Philrose » Mon Nov 14, 2016 10:46 pm

I've not forgotten about arranging another meet at the Falcon but Marise is rather poorly at the moment, in hospital. When she is well again, (please God) I'll put something together.

Thanks for all your best wishes which are most welcome and I'll pass them onto her when I see her shortly. She is rather poorly at the moment and maybe in hospital for a couple of weeks depending on diagnosis and treatment.

An update on Marise.

On Wednesday night she took a turn for the worse and had emergency surgery yesterday. The op. went according to plan and she is now in a high dependency unit.

At the moment she is very poorly.

Tough couple of months for us both. Marise came out of hospital mid December and thankfully is making good progress. She is able to get about a bit but the house is full of various mobility aids etc. My task is to get her weight up as she went down to 61/2 stone.
Fingers crossed we'll be at the get together at Sytners
