softline alloys

Post by stemoore » Sat Nov 12, 2016 1:01 pm

greetings everyone, this is my first time on the register.

I have a 2008 D3 and is useless in the snow ( it snowed last week and i could not get off the estate)
I have seen a set of 18" softline alloys for sale and want too know if these will fit my car.

Any advise or thoughts greatly aprecciated as I have to use my car all year round ( unfortunately ) 8)

Cheers Steve

Welcome Steve,

I`m not a D3 owner but suggest that you consult the owners manual for sizes, offset etc.

This may help ? ... http://thealpinaregister.com/forums/vie ... heel+sizes

The E90 offsets are different to the E46, so check where the softlines have come from.

I chose to go down the OEM BMW wheel route for my winter set and run 17" Type 44 with 225/45 tyres. This year I have a brand new set of Michelin Alpin 5 tyres with a V speed rating.
