Are there any Alpina/BMW get togethers in my area ?
Since I've had my D3 ( 5 months ) I've only seen one other Alpina in my area but would love to catch up with like minded folk.

There are myself in Swansea and Zedwheels in Treorchy, who've both got Alpina's but they're Roadsters so I dont think they really count !

Roadster or not surely an Alpina is an Alpina
I don't mind popping down to Bristol or we could convoy for a vist
I only have a D3 MT which feels like the baby of the Alpina stable but It still feels exclusive and those in the know who I know love it.

Edited to add
Zedwheels you have pics of your car at Ogmore Castle...very close to where I am. Bridgend

Hi taffy223 hope your loving your D3 its a great car and best brand out there! :D
Me and my roadster live in the treorchy area if you know it? And number5 also has a roadster too, we must get together sometime for a spin.

Yes i took a few pics near the castle as i used to live in the Bridgend area. I often take a drive now down to Porthcawl when the weather permits

You must post some photo's of your D3.

I actually live in Bristol but have a small pad I regularly use in Swansea marina. In fact I've just got back home today having just spent a couple of days there with the wife this week.

I'll let Zedwheels know when I'm next over in the Roadster and maybe we can all get together. (The Air show is July 2&3rd again this year...)

Hi taffy223, I am organising a bit of a cruise into parts of the Beacons on Sept. 11th it is listed for Z3s and 4s but if you don't mind slumming it and you fancy a day out why not join us and get to meet up with us? So far there will be 3 Alpina roadsters and some Z4s and Z3s.
Let me know?

This cruise...? Is it a sedate country drive my wife wants to know.

Only because I used to ride bikes back in the day and a cruise up to Brecon on the bikes inevitably ended up in a Welsh Superbike Championship Leg with the metal boxes ( cars ) seen as obstacles to be passed at supersonic speeds.
I do remeber her slinging her helmet acorss the road yelling "I'm not getting back on that" after a "cruise" over the Bwlch on an early ZXR750H1

so many yearsl later she's not up to silly speeds
