Lovely Car in a cool colour
Keep the plate, My first car (Datsun 120y) was PTO 413R, despite many attempts I never managed to.

No plans for moving our B3 wagon on. My son said that when I go he will just fold the seats down and bury me in it. What a way to gobennnydotc wrote:Well if you ever fancy a trade for that old touring...... A few people have mentioned the PTO plate, maybe I'd better get a private one.MCB wrote:I like your car very much. In fact I almost bought it after talking to Alex the previous owner whilst at Silverstone. In the end we decided we allready had enough cars at the moment I do find the PTO number plate somewhat disconcerting though

Took the E36 to my local indy today as I've been losing a bit of coolant and the handbrake is terrible. The good news is the handbrake was a quick adjustment and cost me nout, the bad news is that the coolant loss is down to a knackered head gasket You can see it leaking down the block where it meets the head on the rear, drivers side.
So, booked in next week to have the work done and at least I get an oil and coolant change out of it which I was planning to have done anyway. I have changed a head gasket on a 325 before but I can't be bothered doing it again, it wasn't fun!
