Sytner Meet - Drive and Dine details

Post by neil » Sun Oct 04, 2015 9:13 pm

Hi All

Conscious we are getting very close to next Sunday !

I wanted to share the proposed route and timetable. I have chosen a destination close to the M1 (J23) which I hope will mean people can make a quick getaway after the meal.

Proposed Schedule

Leave Sytner Nottingham @ 3pm

Drive out to Belvoir Castle - arrive c. 3.40pm

Take some photos (hoping weather ok)

Leave Belvoir Castle @ 4pm

Drive from there to The priory @ Nanpanton arrive for 5pm meal

The The Priory Nanpanton website

They can seat us - I've rung and spoken to them saying 15+ people (we will have 2 tables)

If we book (advisable) we will need £5 / person deposit.

If you think this will work I will post the details and get people to commit to the meal.

It's just under 50 mile journey (47.9) and c. 1 hour 20 minutes of driving (according to Google)

Here is the route in google maps:

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Sytne ... 581237,12z

I have the following people have said they wish to dine:

1. Andrew (AlpinaB3S)
2. Mark (Mr-P)
3+4. Matt + Lisa (mattyb10v8)
5. Ashok
6. Norman (Norrie)
7,8,9,10. James, Graeme, Nick + Jamie (James158)
11.+12. Phil + Charlie
13. Lee (Aggie)
14.-15. Carl + Angela (CarlP)
16. Neil

Maybes
16. Steve Cooper
17+18. Phil + Marise (Philrose)
19. Chris (Chrislux)

Given the numbers and the fact the pub wants a deposit - I would really appreciate a quick confirmation message - either in this thread or email (uk50th@theALPINAregister.com)

I would also respectfully advise that this meeting was opened to others who were interested, that may mean some will not see this subject posting and not register or respond, but still attend.

I have posted on FB Alpina owners to login into here and respond.
