Pics would be helpful
Dash mounted plaque four digits which will correspond with 4digit stamped near the inlet manifold if it's rhd

Need more detail from you before we can help!!

like Hap said, 4 digits stamped near the inlet (close the front I think on the M20?) but they also had a number hand stamped on the block.

Black valve cover and possibly inlet manifold. Green tyre pressure sticker to one of the door shuts (or possibly on the boot trim, seen it there a few times now). But pull the ECU and it'll have an Alpina sticker fitted. Possibly could still have its Alpina Boysen exhaust?

Dash, orange needles, Alpina markings etc, steering wheel, gear knob, is it a std BMW sport interior?

That'll point to if 'was' a C2 at one point but obviously the car is really the parts its made from and if any of those are missing then it could be a hunt to track the bits down.

Pics would be good if you have them?

Do you know the VIN, as some of us have a few scant details of some C2's that passed through Sytners back in the day.

You could try calling Sytners directly, but i'm not sure how receptive they are these days to enquiries on the older car.

Most c2 are known by us on the forum so reg and pics we can establish if it is c2 but as ag has stated more difficult to tell what alpina parts remain

Depends what someone will pay for it but to a proper OEM Alpina standard and a correct buyer anywhere from 15-20k if not more. Simon13 is the man to ask.

I personally think 15-20k is a bit to high, 10-15k is the right mark... Few have sold at that price but it would be almost impossible for them to hit the 15k plus mark at this time. Btw nice car :D
Just out of curiosity is this cars engine capacity down as 2693cc or as 2494cc?

Correct on the v5
Interior looks well
I'd imagine it will have a black inlet on that year and should have a 6 branch exhaust manifold
It's the numbers on the engine that need confirming really but you will be able to tell the torque difference from a 325i easily
