ALPINA's 50th Year Celebrations

Post by neil » Fri Jan 30, 2015 3:09 pm

Great News !

Image

We have been provided with a number of invitations to ALPINA’s 50th Year celebration at their headquarters in Buchloe.

The event will occur on Saturday 27th June 2015.

The event starts at 2pm and will end with an evening event.

There is nothing happening prior to 2pm so those travelling could do so on Saturday morning if they plan to fly into Munich. It does sound like staying Saturday night would be very much recommended!

The actual invitations will be sent out by ALPINA – I will provide a list of people to them. Please note the invitations are for an individual.

ALPINA has worked with a number of hotel in the region and will provide details on request to those invited.

So to kick this off I would like to firstly gauge demand.

Please add your name to this thread in the time old tradition if you are you would like to attend and are free and able to get to Germany on the 27th June.

Thanks
Neil

That is good news. Like to be the one on the list and time to have the tour again after 7 years absence. That is '7 year itch' and a trip to the 'Green Hell' as well?

Neil should that be in the 'Event and Meet' instead of the General Forum? :)

Bummer, would love to go but have just book my 'other' car into a classic car show in France that weekend :-(

Hope everybody who goes has a great time (will post my shopping list later) :-)

By the way, in case anybody has not noticed, it seems the Alpina parade lap at Silverstone is now on the Saturday.

Should we not bring our ALPINAs? In other words... drive there?

Anyway I have not heard anything from Buchloe... Norman kindly just let me know, so I am enquiring what we need to do :?:
