For £50 get it MOT'd and go from there, hopefully good news. Let us know pass/fail and put us all out of our misery!!

Your not offending me. I'd just like to see it on the road in a fit state not hanging onto its MOT

I just like to see the old stuff like this get the love they deserve, really if the truth be told that old codger keeping it on the grass for 10 years needs a slap.

LOL....

I've seen a few e32's where despite sitting for many years in what appeared to be in a damp situation only needed the cill ends repairing as their floors were perfect, but then again I've also seen a number that appear sound only to find the complete front flitch panel (in front of the driver/passenger feet) like a swiss cheese.

Well the only thing in its favour is its an e32/e34 and they come from the golden era of build quality imo.

simon13 wrote:True the germans for some time have been buying RHD e36 m3's also in numbers.

I remember on the e36 coupe forum there was a guy with a nice late S reg b3 3.2 coupe not the highest spec but clean and with 70k on it. A guy from germany bought it and so he told the seller was going to use it and leave as RHD. He said all the german e36 stuff was overpriced rubbish. At least our stuff is cheap rubbish :o

Its not all doom and gloom in my eyes, although less people seem to be buy alpinas new now. Economic climate has had some doing for this but not all i'd say
Simon - this was my old car mate. S378 ORY and what a lovely one it was.

The owner ended up spending 1000's on it and converting it to LHD. It looks stunning now, full chassis restoration.

The photos speak for themselves.

I actually miss it lots :(

This B11 obviously has potential but it needs £ throwing at it.

OP - upload some new pics :D

There's a guy on the facebook e36/46 B3 page that bought a silver B3 from here in the UK, took it back to Germany then carried out a LHD conversion, said it was easy and now has a nice, very clean e36 B3 for half of the cost he see's them in Germany, so perhaps the same guy?
Thats the car/owner I was referring to in my reply to Simon, I was talking to him the other week regards his purchase, small world!

its not ended well, i had a PM weeks ago from hairy gringo basically saying they guy gave him a few days to move it or else.

The loser had no money for it or space to keep it. So rather than offer it out to people on here who would of taken it on he sat on it and now its disappeared. Made me quite angry at his selfishness

This was March, i sent him two reply PM's which still have not been read, the owner of the B11 has sold the house it was stored at so where it is now is anyones guess

What a schmuck... he was probably scared off by the reality of the restoration & that he wouldn't be able to flick it for massive profit. It's so not about the money I've poured over 20 k into mine (12 in pound sterling) & have already discussed an engine rebuild & redoing seats, door cards etc with Andreas Bovensiepen when he was in Aus 6 months ago. I Will Never Sell Mine Ever!!!!!!!

Andreas & myself with my B10. He spent some good time going over it.
