Emailed owner yesterday and its a reshell as the old body rotted away , he says he has the plaque but how does this go as far as now being a genuine Alpina ?

I think i would buy and reshell as a touring then ;-)

more space for philosophers! (being one myself, at least, i have the university paperwork, if not the knowledge still in my head)

triggers broom indeed. i called the guy and he has literally no history either, so not sure about mileage although he told me that the mileage was recorded as being low at sytners oxford (!) in 2002.....i might be wrong but perhaps the original shell mileage was low, but who knows what the donor engine mileage is?!? esp as it has needed a rebuild?
