the ALPINA Register Xmas Meal (UPDATED)

Post by neil » Wed Nov 08, 2006 2:16 am

Hi all

This is all a bit late in the day and I have been meaning to organise something for a while.

Anyhow the plan is to have a meal on the evening of Friday 24th November.

Location is our meet HQ - The Anchor Inn, Hathern, Loughborough, Leics, LE12 5JB

This is the initial post to let you know and to gauge reaction I will post more information - like the menu and also local places to stay etc.

Can you add your name to the list and give number of guests

At the moment we are looking at having capacity for c. 30 people - but we maybe able to fit more if we get a better response...

One last thing - We may need to take a deposit of people - again I will let you know.

Update!

Here is the menu :

Image Image

We need to confirm numbers, confirm menu selection and pay the deposit by the 17th November

The deposit is £5 / person - you can pay this via paypal but please add a further 50p to cover paypal charges - This is so the pub can get the appropriate meals sorted and table space reserved.

The link for paypal can be found here:
Here

Menu selections can either be posted on the forum or emailed to info@thealpinaregister.com

If anyones interested in staying over their are a couple of B&B's right next to the pub. Here

Thanks

I'll start the list off

How many people will constitute a deposit?

And does it matter if they are male or female?

And where will they be holding the deposit?

And can I trade in four children as part of the deposit if it means I don't get them back until the 24th?

Some crucial questions this late in the evening, methinks

The Waddington clan would love to attend but the time/distance involved would be a problem. Friday night and the M1 with junior in tow could be a moderate nightmare so we wish you all a great evening.
