Saturday 28th October 2006 - 6 Series, ultimate gadget

Post by neil » Sat Oct 28, 2006 2:24 am

6 Series
Is it me or is the 6 series starting to get a bit more common on the roads ? I've been on the M40 twice this week and have seen c. 20 6 series - noticable more than I've seen previously. I like it but still not 100% about the shape...

A couple of mine are:

Ultimate Gadget
Following from my last ramble about gadgets - My question is if you could have any gadget (real or imaginary) what would you have ?

1. Teleporter - As much as I like driving sometimes I'd love to instantly get somewhere. I have to admit that I am slightly concerned about spreading my particles accross the atmosphere (but hey it is hyperthetical) - it would be amazing -anywhere on the planet instantly - holidays over night. last minute journeys to meetings etc. Fantastic

2. Pause button - I have a real issue with time - or more specifically the lack of it - Insomnia (or rather pushing the consequences of late nights out of my mind) means I can run these websites but ideally I'd like to have a real world pause button that I could use now and again to fit everything in.

They're my top 2 - what about you.

The B5 is about as close to a teleporter as I'm likely to get! See the space... appear in the space... awesome! :)

Seriously, though - a remote control attraction device would be handy - press a button on the wall, and all the remotes in the room fly to one place. Also a mute button for the kids might be nice occasionally - or at least some degree of volume control!

Pause button - I think this is my 4 year daughters favourite gadget. Whethr it is Sky+, a video or DVD it is always being put on pause for some reason, normally being told lunch or tea is ready, but last night whilst reading a bedtime story a got asked to put the book on pause as she wanted to visit the bathroom! :)

I'm envisaging a bookmark in her stocking this Christmas!
