I dont think he is, but I'll be sure to point him over here when he comes to collect.

My heart is well and truly broken. That has to be the Alpina bargain of all time :'(

Wow

That was cheap, I was following it on ebay, an utterly splendid car. Whomever's won it has something really special.

Can't remember your reason for selling but hope you've something suitably lovely lined up

eBay is a murky place full of timewasters and green-eyed, malicious people. But I'm sure you'll no doubt jump to conclusions, same as the next guy - which is a shame.

It's full of idiots but suspect the feedback did your sale no favours.

Hi
I am pleased to say hello to all you fellow Alpina Owners, I am now the owner of the forementioned B10 Touring, and now need to sort out the following problems found on the way home..

Intermittant electrical problems, airbag light, stearing wheel controls not working cruse etc, brake lights not working or on all the time!

I have read that it could be to do with Terminal R on the ignition switch burning out! any thoughts? or damp CD changer wiring? the rear washer does fill the boot rather than washing the rear screen!!

Passenger mirror cover and rear wheel cap stuck on with no nails!

Wheels are out of balance at 60mph, could not reach that speed on test drive.. hopefully not a buckled wheel

On the plus side the engine and gearbox are great :D I just hope the electrical fault is something simple.. the latest MOT rules will mean that these cars with electrical faults will be hard to get an MOT on in the future!

I hope my gut instint to walk away today is proved wrong! I did get a bargin, and I guess any B10 this age is lickly to have simular problems! although no nails on the wheel cap is a pain..

Oh, so perhaps the eBay feedback was fair then...

That really sounds like the ignition switch. All manner of electrical gremlins result from spurious voltages being applied to the systems because fo the poor contact. get a new one, not a fleabay second hand one - go OEM from dealer.
