Not wanting to cause trouble  , I was just wondering what
the split was on the site now between Petrol and Diesel users.

(Plus I have never started a poll) 8)

We have the D3 BT (my wifes) my M Roadster (petrol)
But my kids have a 123D and a 118D so on the drive we have 3 diesels and 1 petrol.

Four cars, a motorbike, and a lawn mower... Four Alpinas, two Hondas

All six run on petrol

I bought a 530d Touring at the weekend - but it was on behalf of a friend

The D3 is my first diesel and must say I am very impressed with both performance and economy. I realise that the D3 is the entry level Alpina but it never fails to put a smile on my face. 8)

V-power only for my B3

Slightly O/T but I had a hire car in France a fortnight ago. A Clio Staitionwagon. 1.4D engine. Managed to get 32 yes only 32 mpg out of the wee thing and only had Mrs Ali and the 2 x kids in the back. I was expecting moon miles like 50mpg so actually I think the B3 is better than modern diesels

Roadster S - petrol
BMW 118d - diesel

Both have their benefits and drawbacks, as do most things, and we're lucky to have the choice and try to use each for the things they are best at.

All 4 cars on Petrol, but i have had my fair share of diesels, tuned and standard.

Di miss the diesel economy and torque though!
