Pet & myself will be attending, we're going to go a bit early and eat as the foods very good should be there for around 6.30 if anyone wants to join us.

No problem Brett - sounds like you had a few 'difficulties'.

The British Summer failed us (or should I say returned !). So we spent most of the night inside. The pub proved as good as predicted and supplied us with 2 big trays of sandwiches.

Here are some photos of last night :

2 B10 V8s
1 B10 3.3
1 B3 3.0

and a mini Cooper S Works

lots more owners though :

Tony & Pet - B10 V8
Andy D B10 V8 Touring
James B10 3.3
Glenn B3 3.0
Neil MCSW

and the fair weather contingent ;) ALPINA-less
Simon Alcorn
Darren & Sarah
Steve Richardson
Andy W

A few other BMW club members included
Stewart
Guy (aka Jeff Spangle)
Mark (aka Woody)
Chris (aka Real Thing)
Clayton
Jayson
Paul

Most impressive was theALPINAregister.com clothing turnout:

3 Fleeces (Simon, James, Neil)
1 Mini Fleece (Glenn)
1 Polo (Tony)
2 T shirts (Glenn)

How did Glenn manage to wear 2 T shirts at the same time? :?

He was wearing a Fleece over his T Shirt - for lord sake ! I'd expect such confusion from one of our younger members - but well .....

Thanks for the gentle chastisement but...

... your original post states:
2 T shirts (Glenn)
So...

... my original question still stands. Sometimes age counts more than beauty I think you'll find

hiya Andy
of course i will be at Gaydon, the problem with the car was there are two stupid connectors (+/-) on the fuel pump , these are located inside the fuel tank under the back seat inspection hatch, and both of these have worked loose on two occasions , one on the way back from the sunday hathern meet in July and the other one on the way to the meet on Wednesday night, both have now been replaced , so all shouild be ok now , the scary thing was on Tuesday I had a job to do in Chipping Camden and I went in my own car to stretch its legs on the m6/m5 and m40 and at times was doing alittle over the legal speed limit and if it had of worked loose at those speeds I woulnt have been around to write this email ! , on a lighter note have you sold you xennon light out of your car ?
