Stolen recovered 4 door B3S 2005
Hi all, noted this one on e-bay; may be one of our member cars but looks really nice and may be worth a punt for someone looking for a bargain. Vibration on the shaft at 30mph only fault noted.

I guess anyone taking it on would be checking carefully with previous owners, full hpi, etc. Even stollen recovered must have some history.
The robbers may have stripped the interior I'm sure the seats were all electric, although the saloon may be differently specced.

I notice the pics are the same pics as the ones on the Alpina archive, last updated June 2011.

this was for sale a while back and my memory was it had circa 101k but full service history. interestingly the images on the current advert are the same from the previous advert which is odd, the car has been discussed on here somewhere and im sure it did not have electric seats as it was mentioned as being strange.
That's how I remember it as well. It was the plate that made me think. I've looked for the thread, but cannot find it.hap wrote:this was for sale a while back and my memory was it had circa 101k but full service history. interestingly the images on the current advert are the same from the previous advert which is odd, the car has been discussed on here somewhere and im sure it did not have electric seats as it was mentioned as being strange.

Not so much the electric side, but the memory part is handy if two people use the same car. If someone adjusts my seat, it takes me a while to find the right location again. Luckily, it only happens when the car has work done on it.simon13 wrote:who cares about electric seats? if your so fat and lazy you can't adjust the seat yourself then you shouldn't be driving a car let alone an alpina

Plenty of people - myself included.simon13 wrote:who cares about electric seats? if your so fat and lazy you can't adjust the seat yourself then you shouldn't be driving a car let alone an alpina
I use three different seat positions depending on what type of driving I'm doing so it's very handy to have the correct position instantly recalled. Plus, in cars of this calibre, it's the sort of extra I'd expect.
Current fleet:
1988 E34 Alpina B10 3.5
1998 E31 BMW 840Ci Sport Individual
2014 VW Passat Estate
1988 E34 Alpina B10 3.5
1998 E31 BMW 840Ci Sport Individual
2014 VW Passat Estate
I'm sure that was up for sale in the summer, but with about double the mileage.
I'd e-mail the Archive for more information: that car has certainly travelled further than it claims...I notice the pics are the same pics as the ones on the Alpina archive, last updated June 2011.
