Sorry for the late reply, but just wanted to say how good a day it was. Dad is really grateful of Andy, managing to get the office to send him the display pass, and squeezing him on the stand, thanks!

I was out all day before hand, in the pouring rain, cleaning it, hoovering it, and giving it a good once over. I spent the two days before that cleaning the engine bay with that gunk stuff, boy did it stink!

We really enjoyed the day, day enjoyed meeting even more like - minded people, and I enjoyed looking at all the other nice Alpinas and Beemers out there. But what we both really enjoyed was the Aston Test track. We did it the year before, so we bought two tickets this time :D We went out at the same time as James in his B10 3.3 the first time, and we both hung to the back so we could go faster catching up with the guys infront. We managed about 160, he managed about 150, but it was close!

Overall a great day!

Andy, I see you got a mention in this month's 'BMW Car Club' magazine in the 'Festival Fever' section, for organising all the Alpinas at Gaydon, and deservedly so!
