Had a really good day!

Sorry if I didnt get to talk to everybody but had to many people interested in my car and spent most of the day chatting to them.

Had at least five offers from people who were trying to buy my car  I don't think so..................

A good day, picked up lots of useful info - mostly from Simon, of course.

Ooh, and I promise to practice my "show parking" for next time.

How about that queue for the burgers!

:D Hi to all of you who attended the meet today.

This is a good day out as usually especially the Aston Martin Track run. This is really fun. I did managed to run at about 150mph on the 2.7m straight (it is not very long when you were driving) and I did about 100mph-110mph on the bend.  Now I konw what my car is capable for.

Here I would like to say thank you to Jeremy who advised me for the AMT run and the little fellow who trusted his life on me for three crazy laps (not that crazy afterwards).

Finally it was a great run on Fosse Way with Andy, Tony and Darren on our way home.

See you all in Anchor Inn then. :D :D

James

Well done again Andy. A very good turnout and some quality cars. I liked the 6'ers

Sorry I didn't get to meet/chat to everybody, but I had a heavy night on the town and had only a few hours sleep.

Many thanks to you all for getting everything together really well. I have to agree and say that the Alpina stand was fantastic!!
I didn't get the chance to go round speaking to everyone but I did have a chat with a few and it was a Very good day for Michelle and me. :D
Loved to see all the Alpinas together and there was only one drawback that Michelle had to stop me from going to correct an idiot.
There were two guys that walked close to my car chatting. I heard them talking about what Alpina have done to a BMW. The first guy was saying that they have taken a truly great car and altered it. The other guy was then saying HOW can you take a BMW & make it different and that Alpina had got it wrong and couldn't possibly have produced a better car!!! I did feel like going over to him to ask if he had ANY idea of what an Alpina is about and what the history behind them was but I thought if he had that attitude then it wasn't worth wasting my breath lol
Those burgers were absolutely CRAP!! No taste & £10.10 for two cheese burgers and 1 lot of chips  Butty's next year lol

Again many thanks to all involved, looking forward to another meet now
:D

Just to add to all the similar comments:

1 Great to meet both familiar and new faces

2 Well done everyone for a great turnout of wonderful cars - they were all looking very special

3 Finally , a HUGE thank you to Andy for all his hard work organising (both before the day and on-site)

I have yet to look at the photos and the anticipation is killing me.

See you all again soon
