Andy, is it possible to put my car down for the outdoor stand if there is to be one this year. All those Alpina's lined up last year looked impressive, will it be the same this year...

D4,

I know you have probly mentioned this previously, but what time do we need to be there so as to get a place in the outdoor display at Donnington?

Do you have an exact address for the location.

Cheers

Nick

Was just wondering if there is info yet about what times cars have to be there for?

ok.

update for Sunday.

The show opens around 10am

Therefore all cars exhibiting (see list below)

Simon E30 C2
Darren & Sarah E28 B10
Peter E28 B9
Steve Street E32 B12
Steve Richardson E24 B10
Jim E85 Roadster S

should be in place inside the hall no later than 9.30am the hall will be open on Sunday from 8am ish and alternatively as with previous years cars can be left in the hall (with security) overnight - from Saturday afternoon onwards.

There is no official outside display for thge ALPINA register and so the plan is/was for us to arrange a meeting point where we could 'group park' and form a mini outside display.

The reasoning behind this is due in oart to the forecast for sunday which looks a little wet at the moment. Though we will still try and park altogether... There is a section to the right of the main hall (outside) which has had standing and which i'd like to try and get a line up going but we'll have to see how it goes on the day as to whether or not this works out...

There may be a chance that I can increase the size of the indoor display (although this really depends on how many cars for our section and others turn up on the day) no promises.. but there is a chance...

Therefore anyone wanting to display and be at the top of this maybe list should PM me and be prepared to be at Donington early enough to be in place by 9.30 - obviously with their car cleaned and ready for showing.
Also the hall will be 'locked-down' between 10am and around 3-4pm so if you take up this offer you won't be able to slope off early - if you know what i mean.

Thanks
Andy

Hello Andy, thankyou for the update. I understand the forecast for sunday is to be heavy rain most of the day. Any idea of what time you are hoping to gather us together for a mini outside display/gathering. Sorry to be a nuisance Glenn
