Anchor Inn meet june 25th 2006

Went for a pint at the Anchor yesterday and met the new landlord who just by chance is a total petrol head. :D

I mentioned last years june meet and he's very interested in letting us use the car park again.

Unfortunatley he does not own an Alpina but he's not doing to bad as he's got an RS6 and a 348 Ferrari.

I have suggested the 25th june as we have the May 14th meet.

Last year we had about 12 cars turn up on the day and there's room for alot more.

The new landlord (Simon) has also said for a small fee he would put on a buffet or we can have a comprehensive menu.

The pub address is The Anchor Inn, Hathern, Loughborough, Leics, LE12 5JB.

No can do - party weekend at Lovibond towers.

Wife and I are both 40 this year and that weekend's our wedding anniversary also.

Have fun the rest of you - I would have invited you to my gaffe but you are all busy elsewhere :lol:

Just to let you know, went for a meal today at the Anchor and it was great!! Excellent food and even better very reasonably priced.

Had a really nice welcolme from the land lord, and on leaving in the b10 saw him pulling out in his ferrari 348 tb, he reversed back to tell me about this alpina meet that he is having in June............. word is travelling :lol:

would be good to see you there Panos - still haven't seen the car in all it's revitalised glory.

as for the rest of you.. come on.. summer is rolling in and the food (as sampled there today by me and Tony) is top drawer so lets see a few more of you put your names down....
