I've just received this email and thought I'd share it with you all...


Hello Chas

Thank you for the feedback, it is nice to know our efforts are appreciated.

You do not know how much pleasure your win gave me, and a few others. I was questioned a couple of times as to why BMWs were in the Supercar class, admittedly the M6 was more difficult to justify but on a wet track its power is more usable. I would just say "it is an Alpina BMW and its more than capable of embarrassing the established supercars".

You made my point beautifully. Good driving.

8) Cool video – if Chas’s B8 was the touring shape. I then can’t but think the spectators would have been even more surprised :lol:

The video is now famous. Several people at work (members on other forums) keep telling me there is a cool video of a Alpina B8 vs Pagani Zonda
