B10 3,5/1 ECUs

Hi, I am new to this forum and have just acquired a 1991 B10 3,5/1. The car has been kept in storage for a long time and has only 2000 km on the odometer. However, it comes with critical parts missing namely all 3 ECUs, ignition cables and air flow meter. Tried to search for used alpina B10 3,5/1 Ecu but seems none available. Any suggestion on how best I can procure such Ecu would be most appreciative.

you may be better of looking for an aftermarket chip that can be installed into a std BMW ecu, I'm pretty sure the 1991 cars would be a chip installed as opposed to a sealed tuned system as per the later e36 B3.2's.

That way all you need to locate is the STD BMW ECU that would have been used for your car.

Have a look for Enda Ward (end tuning), he does some excellent items that replicated Alpina ECU's

Thanks AG..will follow up with your recommendation. Any idea on the EML control unit, is this specific to Alpina and similar to the motronic ECU, is there any special modification to be made on a standard EML. My car is with Automatic transmission, chassis number last 3 digit ending 515.

I'd say this was a BMW item, but not a 100% sure must admit

The EML control unit is for the electronic throttle housing that M30 engined E32 and E34 cars had if the ASC traction control option was specced.

Its a standard BMW part.
