Ive seen a B2.5 Cabrio before.

This looks genuine to me. CH Nottingham reg, all the Alpina parts look aged like they have been on the car a long time, its an early air bag steering wheel which might explain the lack of Alpina steering wheel and these B2.5 cars really were a dealer fit kit of parts rather than an out an out model like a C2 2.7.

The B2.5 didnt even have Alpina suspension.

Very true it’s from sytner and the bits all fit that period and possibly the exhaust wasn’t requested
I’d still like to see the build sheet nevertheless it is a nice looking motor

Indeed, as with any Sytner built car checks would need to be made to ensure it is what it makes out to be.

Exhaust may have been replaced at some point due to corrosion.

Don't remember ever having seen a B2.5 Cabrio before, would be interested to know if it was original/genuine.

Looks like a nice car though, love the colour. The pic of the jump-leads by the battery made me chuckle

quite like that.

I imagine you could have had a B2.5 in any body shape from the e36 range if you wanted to back in the day. Sytner would have made you one.

Howe does that work then? The auction in the UK still has 3days to run and is currently at £1,800. Not sure what shipping to Oz costs but $25k AUD should leave a tidy profit for someone!

How come the car doesnt have hidden tyre valves? I thought that the point of the centre caps was to cover the lugs and the tyre valve?

The earlier "Hardline" wheels have exposed valves, so they are correct.

Did anyone see the max bid? I last saw it at £1,800.
