Not sure about the plants though bob
Re: E39 B10 3.3 Touring #013
What's wrong with a bit of foliage hap? Maybe they're trying to offset all the emissions and become a carbon-neutral dealership?

Lovely and a reasonable price. I miss my 3.2 Touring that had the exact same colours.

Re: E39 B10 3.3 Touring #013
I was going to look at this on the weekend but didnt manage it, and wont be around until after next weekend either, its only 55miles away - i'm concerned about the high mileage, and to be honest that woodwork seems a little ....orange.......
If its around next week i'll try and pop over and check it out.

Re: E39 B10 3.3 Touring #013
the e39 and that engine will cover that milege and more. My concern would be the price is too high with that milege. It puts people off - not me but they can be hard to shift on with serious leg on them
Re: E39 B10 3.3 Touring #013
I've done almost double that mileage in my B3S - same base engine but bored out to 3.4litres.
So long as it has regular service and maintenance records for its entire life, then you really shouldn't worry about that mileage.

Re: E39 B10 3.3 Touring #013
The advert has gone now and it's not on the dealers website either. Did you get a chance to view/do a deal? Or do we wait for it to appear at auction/another dealer?

Re: E39 B10 3.3 Touring #013
Apologies, if this post appears twice...
Spotted this thread while googling about B10s. The car didn't come on my radar until it approached 6K and popped up on the autotrader emails - I was looking for a replacement to my manual 530D, which I've had for about 12 years and is on 275K. I've been looking for one for a couple of years and had rather given up on finding a manual B10 touring without paying collector prices...
I asked the seller to remove the ad, in return for me paying the agreed price and subject to me having a few days - to get a comprehensive AA inspection done and subject to that not picking up anything too drastic (it's spent 10 years in Scotland and has a bit of corrosion, but nothing too bad) collected the car on Saturday.
Planing to use / get it fixed it for as long as it will keep going!
