I have the aricle saved from detailing world where the previous owner (after James I believe)had it fully corected and detailed at polished Bliss in Aberdeen

Great news it didn’t end up being broken Kevin.

Lee replaced the timing chain & guides on my 4.6 last year and he did a great job for me too. I’ll second him for any BMW work in the Surrey or surrounding areas.

Really fantastic news Kev, such a beautiful car, way to good to be broken. I can imagine the bill wasn't small to save it.

Regards Mk IV - look out on eBay, usually plenty to choose from, and a simple plug and play. DVD discs are commonly available on there too.
