The latest B3 S BiTurbo model

Post by Rav » Thu Nov 08, 2018 1:25 pm

During the morning commute i can to rest at a set of traffic lights behind a 67 registered BMW M3. I was quite taken back by the body styling and the sheer width of the car.

Can anyone confirm that the latest B3S Bi-Turbo is based on this body ?

New dream car to save for?

The B3 is based on a standard 3 series body.

The M3 has flared rear quarter panel and arches and a wider rear track, hence why it looks so purposeful.

Thanks Metrics.

That is a shame. The M3 looks very well planted but i understand why Alpina went for the narrow body - discrete charm!!

I would love an Alpina B3 s Bi-Turbo based on the M3 Wide body.......

Off he goes to the configurator.....

The M3's not a bad car - not an Alpina, but a good car in it's own right.

Would be interesting to see what an Alpina based on the wider body would look like, but it really misses the point of the Alpina ethos.
