B2.5/ B3 exhaust system, Dove grey headliner

Post by Satty B2.5 » Fri Jun 22, 2018 3:25 pm

Hi Guys, I own a B2.5, owned It since 2009, the previous owner had changed the exhaust after the alpine cats, to a straight pipe DTM style Scorpion cat back, I changed to over to a stainless steel exhaust which copies the look of the original Boysen one, but now I am wanting to replace the exhaust back to its original state, if any one has one in their garage or knows of some one selling one please PM me.#

Secondly my headliner has started sagging again, can anyone recommend me a place to order the material from so I can do it my self. after researching it seems the exact colour is not available on the market any more as my model is 93 e36, it came with the silver leather (grey) and grey or dove grey headlining material.

Thanks guys.
SS

Have been trying to get a replacement Boysen back box for mine but they are like hens teeth, hard to get hold of. I have decided to get it repaired as it is only the baffles that have gone.

My roof lining has also sagged but is only black so easy to source a replacement.

Like Hap has said eBay can be your friend...

Good luck.

Regarding the headliner if it is of the plastic/vinyl type and trick to tighten it up is to get a rag soaked in cellulose paint thinner and wipe the headlining over. Obviously try a patch first to see there is no adverse effect and don't smoke in the car whilst your trying it!
