Well you're a brave owner to ask for opinions on the work you've done on your D3, so hats off to you for that.

Hi all,
Although i do agree with some of the sentiments i personally have always loved the rich gloss black stripes on my D3 BiTurbo. I think this is due to the wheels, mirrors and front grills also being gloss black.

You can see photos of how mine looks after Spa fitted new stripes for me, and it looks amazing. Top job by Spa too :D

Cheers

Kev,

That looks spot on! I love the black and silver look!
The black alloys with it too really sets it off - makes it stand out more. I was tempted for the black grills and black wing mirrors too - but hadnt made my mind (up until seeing yours, did they come as standard or did you get them somewhere specific?)

I even changed the roundels to black and silver!

At the minute im just trying to get her to stand out more - but not garishly lol!

(Also, is / does Simon still doing the front decals - would like to get my hands on a set of them!)

Hi Steve,
Many thanks for the comments and i must admit that since I bought my beloved D3 BiTurbo she has always had many comments even to this day :D
I am hoping to upgrade and buy a B3s next year and will probably go for exactly the same colour combo, i like it that much!
The front grill in mine is a genuine M3 item and i did have to buy it from a supplier in Germany as you need an M3 Vin number to buy one here in the UK. Well you did at the time but not sure if that is still the case?
If you get stuck I will have a dig around in emails to try and find out where i got them from, can't promise i will find any info on that though.

You should message simon and I am sure he will sort you some Decals out if he is still doing them. He is a very busy guy though so give him time.

Cheers

I really like the black and i have been thinking the same as my car is white with black wheels, kidney grills and window surround so it is nice to see.

Very tempting indeed
