Ps4 I believe few people at sytner meet had then and said they were noticeably better
I have fairly newish PS3 on rear and the fronts have 4.5mm so I will prob get fronts onto ps4 then change the rears

the rears have lasted fewer than 15k miles but i really like them.. progressive on the limit but the wear rate is not ideal

Depends on how many miles you do.
I do sub 5k per year so I rarely wear out tyres.
I replace them on an age basis .
Are your potentially spare PS3s front tyres and 18" ?

well its been 15k miles in 3 years... im still in two minds about getting new ps3 rears vs a new set of ps4s

if the latter then yes to your question and they are currently showing about 4-5mm with a 2014 production date

A quick look at the Michelin website and the PS4S is only available in in 19" diameter and above - so, unless you have 19" rims on your E46, then the correct Michelin rubber for your B3S will be the PS4 and not the PS4S
