That is a serious amount of effort gone into your project
You say almost there, what is still left to do?

A Pillar trim

Post by Sab » Fri Nov 24, 2017 6:15 pm

BMW still had a few in germany.

I’m well chuffed with these as the current trim is looking a little tired after 22yrs.

Replaced the headlight switch.
Turn controls for heaters, fan and temperature.
And finally was able to source a glovebox torch.

Very nice indeed. I have about six of those glovbox torches kicking around. Not sure what state the batteries are in though. I have seen a working one fetch £40 on eBay 😲

Cheers Pal.

It’s Christmas Eve and the weather is strangely mild, so I got her out one last time and decided I’ll takle some of the DIY bits.

Cataloging parts

Post by Sab » Fri Apr 20, 2018 5:39 pm

Ok, so the above was ordered with various other bits like pads, sensors, etc...can’t list every item from a 8/10 page invoice
Or this may well turn out to be a long evening!

So I unpacked all the parts I’ve accumulated except the external mouldings (in storage).

Take a look at this lot!
