This doesn't look bad! Although it has had advisories (and a couple of fails) on the MOT over the last few years; this suggests it may not have been particularly well cared for...

Having said that, I reached out to the owner requesting some additional information. His response addresses some of the issues in the MOT (which I did not mention)

"It does have a full history with BMW and independents.
It has had the transmission fluid replaced, torque converter has no issues.
I have had the water pump, belts and alternator replaced around 3 months ago. The cam cover gasket was weeping and was replaced at the same time.
2 of the flexible brake hoses were advisories on the MOT so have been replaced with stainless braided hoses all round."

I hope this helps potential buyers, I would be going to look at this myself but I'm stuck the other side of the country for the next couple of weeks!

Hi all,

Had a premium independent pre-purchase inspection undertaken on No.99 and based on the results have decided it's not for me.

Feel free to send me a PM if you would like a copy of the report.

Sounds interesting. You have PM.
I am after a Alpina B3 and it must be newer than a 52 plate - dont ask why.....
My budget is circa £8k and there seems to be very few cars out there.

Number 99 was one i was watching closely.
