Welcome Luke. I have just sent you a PM on RR, so please take time to read it.

Also, to all on here, personally i am over the moon that the car has reappeared. I was chatting to Kees from the Archive and we both presumed it dead as it hadn't appeared in a while.

So Luke, for the cars sake if nothing else, please post a separate post with your car's description in the title, and as much as you can detail wise with as many pictures as you can in the post, so all can see what the car is/was and will be in the future. I hope the new owner will join up to the forum and keep the car alive physically and virtually! I for one will much appreciate your efforts.

I would love for all 4 of the 5 cars to get together and have a photo shoot done, just so we can keep them alive!

Hello Shaz thanks got your pm and replied

I'm more than happy to attend any photo shoots, get the car registered on here and do a seperate thread, its the least I can do as I really do appreciate how wonderful and rare this car is, I will also make the new owner, should there be 1, aware of you guys and make sure they sign up.

I got the the car from an Audi main dealer the guy part exchanged it for an RS6 I believe, he was a proper petrol head and had an array of nice rare cars which swapped hands bar this 1 until now.

Hopefully everyone has calmed down a bit and recognised that, without direct comments from the owner here, we (collectively) may have jumped to some conclusions.

My personal take is that it's a lovely looking car, nicely specified but unrealistically priced in the current market. I would expect that car to achieve half that price tops, but the market can be a strange place at times.

Welcome to the forum and I hope that you are able to gain some helpful advice and guidance from us here.

Welcome Luke.
As I said to you through eBay. You have a very nice and rare car there. If it were my choice I would keep the Alpina and pass the RS4 on 😊

If I can be of any assistance you are welcome to contact me through pm on here.
Regards.
Terry.

It has just been relisted on eBay for £18995.
I do like it very much, but the asking price is not tempting me at the moment.

Sorry but I cant get the link thing to work on my phone. But if you put this number into the eBay search bar then it should find it for you.

I am very tempted myself. But the asking price is a little strong for me.

Hello sorry not been on for a while, have had a fair few offers on the car, the highest being £15k from a trader who wanted it for himself, I'm thinking about it but as said I'm not really wanting to sell her hence me not putting her up at give away price or de-valuing what I think is a cracking brand and a car.

Will keep you updated if anything changes, I'll try not to wake anyone up too

Just been looking at the Ebay link and the car looks stunning. I wouldn't be selling!

The 80s Alpina cars are already demanding high prices. Therfore the 90s cars are set to follow. Despite what others think or say on here. As I have already told you. Sell the Audi and keep the Alpina. You will look back in 10 years time and thank me 😊

Oh I totally agree with you! I hope to still have the Alpina next year and meet some of you and laugh in 5-10 years time about when I wanted a fiver short of £20k when god knows what the prices will be!
I intend to sell the B5 RS4 which I never thought I'd do but its not in a sellable condition atm due to an elderly gentleman jumping a red light in October and hitting the N/S/F wing, but there you go.
