But this isn't a simple adjustment is it. BMW UK charge near enough double the price for parts compared to our continental friends:

B5 Supercharger BMW UK £4350
B5 Supercharger BMW Holland £2300
Same part, same part number, part comes directly from the Alpina factory.

Personally I wouldn't call that 'an adjustment'

The same goes for the previously mentioned white goods.

Not on topic I know but is the same with IKEA and the like - most of our furniture is self imported from France.

BEBS - probably too late I know but PM me if you need anything else as I work in a company with a division that supplies building materials, bathrooms and white goods!!

Kind of back to topic - In the meantime would you mind PM'ing the email of who you dealt with at Den Haag BMW for your supercharger, cheers.

ABRAD,

Thanks for the offer, my build is ongoing so I may well be in touch.

I'll dig out the email address for the contact at BMW den Haag.

Just spotted your current car list... here's a pic of my first car 8)

In recent years BMW M has taken to producing cars which seem to have copied Alpina's template. Where will Alpina find its next niche to exploit a BMW range gap?

Does Alpina see a future in its D models?

Where does Alpina standard on hybrid technology? And does it worry it might be left behind as manufacturers move more and more towards it?

What % of Alpinas are ordered with lavalina?

What would be his perfect Alpina that Alpina never made?

Will we ever see hand-made Alpina engines again?

Do Alpina have any plans to go racing again?

What type of cars do you see Alpina making in the next 5, 10, 15 years?

It would be great if someone could post on here a summary of the questions posed and responses given?

I have asked a question which could be related to that

I have also asked these.

No doubt a lot of questions from different members will overlap each others.

Some already stated in this thread

1 Will there be an Allrad version of the D3/D4 (or B3/B4) Bi Turbo for the UK market in the future. E90 to F30 was a big step change, so F30 to G20 needs to be also.

2 The D3 and B3 family are too close, would you consider a V8 B3. This would differentiate from the M class family and also Alpina D3 class family (drop the B5 engine into the engine bay) etc. Could attract a new following.

3 Diesel is now a swear word (maybe always has been so) with some people, with this being the case what is the plan for hybred if any at all and diesel Alpina engines in general.

Oh and just for a bit of humour, my final question, alloy centre caps, can you source them from Germany instead of China please :D
