Carl - if BMW you mean BMW UK Limited then they may bring nothing. They no longer have any representation agreement with Silverstone, it is with Goodwood. Their outdoor events team might have something there.

I have contacted the BMW Car club and told them that Sytner have offered two car, however one may be Frank Sytner E30 replica.

wow, so few people, in fact virtually none. The BMW Club asked me if there was any need for a separate ALPINA display, but on this showing I guess not.

Shows how 'rare' Alpina cars are. We know they build half as many cars every years compared to Rolls Royce :-)

I have asked the BMW Car Club how many cars have registered and paid to display this year. When I know I shall post it, but I guess if you are going for a weekend and in a hotel you will be lucky to get away with 500 pounds spend.

BMW CCGB cannot tell me how many ALPINA cars have purchased a display pass for this event, nor can they tell me how many BMW cars will be on each day.
The have said approx. 180 display passes have been purchased over the 3 days.
They have been allocated the same location as in 2016, which is first left through the main gate and adjacent to the track so the bridge is on your right hand side.

I shall not be bringing my B7 as it has a blown catalytic converter and it is on order from Germany. I will be attending in my old banger E39 which is not pretty but I paid my fee and might as well park inside as opposed to public car parking.

The Silverstone Classic was a great show this year and the BMW Car Club certainly upped its game with a very large marquee, new merchandise, complimentary refreshments and comfortable seating area.

There were a few ALPINA cars in attendance and one from Sytner Maidenhead, which was not presented in the cleanest of order. However for the general BMW enthusiast there were lots to see.

I did briefly speak to Gary Lott and Jonathan Noy from Sytner .
