Is that a V8 from an Esprit they've shoved in that Cortina Terry?

Couldn't make it yesterday, B5 is in for valve stem seals in order to finally deal with the oil consumption issue (4 weeks and counting - supercharger sent off for refurbishment)
Fezza is in for replacement alarm battery and wasn't sure if a common as muck 911 would be let in.

Must try harder for the next one!

Yes it is Brian. It fitted like a glove

I just love cars like that. Full of surprises at the traffic lights.

Your Porsche would certainly not of been out of place. They outnumbered everything else there on Saturday. After all, the owner of the Hare Pub is a member of the Porsche owners club and owns a 911 himself.

Good luck with the work you are having carried out at the moment. It may leave your wallet empty, but at least your sump should remain full

Ha ha - very true! Was beginning to wonder if there was a hole in the block or a sump plug missing the rate it was consuming 0W-30!
Last run was 1 & 1/2 liters in 600 miles!

I've got it in with an Ex Sytner chief mechanic who I'm told knows what he's doing.. will report back once I know what's what but I'm hopeful.

Just a reminder that the next meeting at the Hare Roxwell is this Saturday. We wont be taking the Alpina this time round, as it is in having some work done. But we may give the M3 a run out. Not sure yet.

Made it to the Hare today albeit not until 11 am.. Still a good few motors around.

No we decided not to go this time round Brian. The Alpina is in having some work done. We were going to take the M3, but my son got called into work.

Hopefully we can meet up there in July.

Please do me a favour and give me a nudge when these things come round, my life is so packed i don't even get on the forum much anymore.

I've missed most of this year and am still trying to get through my new years resolutions!

Alpina is running and sat in Wales, just need to try and get a ride to get it and bring it to Essex! Would be good to put it on a stand next to yours!

Hey there Arit. I was wondering where you had been hiding

Have you actually got your Touring back on the road yet? Or is it still sat languishing in that barn.

The next Breakfast Club meeting at the Hare Roxwell will be held this coming Saturday 2nd July. Not sure if I will be able to make it this time round though

And yes, it would be great to meet you and your sometime car and compare notes

Its running, MOT'd and Taxed and able to drive, but i am unavailable to go and get it!

Just need a way of getting back to Bridgend to go and get it, other than that its the Seat most days at the moment!

We will not be able to attend either Kevin. Hopefully we can have another get together in August as you mention. Looks like it could be raining tomorrow anyway

Good news that she is finally back on the road. Now all you have to do is hop on the train and go and pick her up
