Bimmerfest Venlo 2016

Post by Norrie » Wed Jan 13, 2016 11:18 am

A few of us went to Venlo last year and had a good time. 2016, 5th June this time is the date. I personally have booked my accommodation, which is already getting full and I notice prices have risen in the area.

Anyone one else going? I know there are around 20 ( not Alpina owners) going from the BMW enthusiasts Club.

I will not be going again this year, enjoyed it up to the point where a moronic Dutchman decided to see how much out of shape he could get his panels with his very loud distorted "music" system :wall2

When I politely asked him to turn it down, I was met with a blank stare :doh
Left early as it was giving me a headache :(
Was also disappointed with the number of European Alpinas at the meeting, the UK group outnumbered them :D

I'm going, I've already booked my accomodation with the BMWE Forum crew as I did last year. I haven't seen many Alpinas show interest so far, just a couple on our FB page.

Please do not be put off this event by the unfortunate incident aforementioned. This is a very good show and growing every year. There is plenty to see and do. I actually photographed more European Alpina cars than there were from the UK. We were parked in one location and they were parked sporadically.
