As far as I know they are taking over the pub next door for the duration of the event, should be a good one :D

Apart from walking back to the car which was parked in the nearby National Cat Centre (really) and finding the gate shut + locked :) it was a good night and well worth the journey.

It was good to see some interesting cars and meet a few familiar faces :
Norman, Kev, Simon, Dan and Maire-Noelle

I posted a few shots on twitter (which if you haven't got you should be able to see on the front page of the site). Only got there at 8pm so not too many photos though!

Indeed it was an interesting evening after work and reminded me of how nice these roads are! I used to do this one in the past when I was working in Eastbourne!
Anyhow

Saw some of the ALPINA lot, namely Brian, Norman, Kevin, Simon13 and Neil and briefly chatted to Dan.
On my way back to the non-BMW car park just after 8pm accompanied by Norman (thank you and I hope you like the Scooby drive!), we notice a convertible Merc getting in and wondered who might be that late! and yes it was Neil!
Sorry for the noise on my way out!
And the name is Marie-Noëlle or nick name MNL, NOT Marie or Noëlle ALONE; unless if you are looking for someone else and not me!!!
Car: D3 saloon 2007 and...a couple of cats made in 2003! and a little Scooby WRX STi...

Munich Legends Open evening

Post by Norrie » Mon Sep 07, 2015 6:52 pm

Went along say around 6 Alpina people who I knew. Good mix of other BMWs and odd Porsche and a Rolls Royce coupe. Chap Dan Norris from ML was very friend, actually held at Red Lion pub a few hundred yards down the road.

Evening light faded too quickly and would have been better earlier in year, we did not see any of their facilities, so just a large pub meet, but worth it if not too far away.

I missed the back room stuff - only went in the showroom too busy chatting to Bob Harper :)

I've finally (sorry for the delay) added the photos I took (disclaimer we only got there at 8 pm and it was my phone's camera !)

You find all the photos here:

Trip worth it for this car alone :)

Glad you all enjoyed the meet!

It will more than likely become an annual thing.
