Number 88 has a little brother!

Post by Ikule » Wed Dec 10, 2014 3:16 pm

Well I finally took the decision to gracefully retire #88 from the daily commute, she deserves her retirement to a summer weekend/holiday cruiser after serving me so well these past seven years and 63,000miles,
she is now tucked up in the garage under a brand new car cover and a C-tek battery conditioner should be arriving in the next few days to keep her healthy through the cold Winter months ahead.

So I present her new bouncing (it's still on runflats all round!) baby brother, a 2004 Mini Cooper S Chilli pack with 69,800miles, FSH, JCW front bumper, grill and side skirts,
full bi-colour heated leather interior, sports multi-function s/wheel,harmon kardon stereo, rain sensing wipers, auto dimming mirror,
sat-nav (still with the 2004 nav cd in it....) heated front windscreen and a very kind previous owner has changed the earlier xenon headlights to the 2005 spec facelift xenon lights.

I've had it for just over a week now and can't stop grinning when I drive it, the supercharger whine is quite addictive and it handles like a go-cart but it's not a mid-life crisis......honest!

Very nice, always liked the mini, and the handling and performance are addictive as you say, well done.

I like the colour combination in and out!!! :D

But only 69000 miles for the B10?
What shall I say for the Jags with 228000 and 254000 miles each?!?! They should be retired for years now...

That 63,000 is in my ownership, the total mileage is just over 145,000miles now so it's only right that I keep her away from the salty winter roads

Couple of additions under the bonnet
