What happened?

That was a seriously short ownership. Were there issues with the car?

I concur!
I just wonder if there was an issue we should be aware of in case *ahem* there may be some interest in it....

Considering selling my black b6s convertible. Alpina reg 100

Post by Rossp1981 » Tue Dec 02, 2014 1:20 am

Unfortunately it's time for me to grow up and buy a family car and it's only right I reach out to those who would appreciate the car as I do.

Will follow with pictures but it's on the Alpina register. B6s no. 100.

Let me know if there's any interest.
Thanks

Ross

I don't get this "family car" thing. I've had an 330ci e46 coupe, a 335d e92 coupe, an Audi S5 and now a B3 e92 coupe and the family fit in just fine. With 2 doors, you step into the rear footwell, rather than twisting sideways to put the kids the back seats of a saloon while hanging your backside out on the road, plus you have a big boot. If you want more space for the occasional days when you're travelling a long way or carrying holiday / Christmas luggage - buy roof box.

Anyway, I'm glad I'm not in the market for a new car or this B6 would have been sold. It's simply stunning and with more performance than anyone can use on a public road. What more can you want?

Cheers,
Bryan

Hey, I don't deny the benefits of other car body types. I just don't buy the assumption that a family car has to exclude a coupe. Would love to put my opinion to the test and put my family in that B6!

The amount of rear legroom is laughable. It's like someone's playing a practical joke on you.
