That time of year again

Post by Mr-P » Wed Aug 20, 2014 11:17 am

As with everyone else I have to pay the Insurance pirates.
But today I have a smile on my face.
:D :D :D

My policy with Admiral has dropped by £ 190 for my 2 cars.

The B10 coming in at £209 FC and fully protected :D :D

However the Cooper S is more at £ 249 FC and fully protected.

The saving helps pay for the silly high Road Tax on the Cooper.

Don't you think you may have saved more by getting new quotes... ive never found that my renewal quote is better than new business quotes

Agreed!

Dont ever accept the renewal quote. Play them off against the new policy department for huge savings!

To do this of course you need to get a new multi-car quote.

Works every time.

My experience with Admiral is that the renewal quote is generally higher, so to achieve a £190 reduction (presumably without asking) seems reasonable without having to go through the whole quote process.

By my calculation, this is a 30% reduction which is excellent and probably hard to beat.
