Apologies if this has been posted/discussed before. Does anyone have any views or experience of this B3?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alpina-B3-3-3-Switchtronic-saloon-/161155702957?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item2585a0e0ad

I'm seriously interested. Also does anyone know if this is the same engine spec i.e. more powerful of the 3.3's?

Thanks

it's a 3.3 so the more powerful version of that year, however it looks OK but you'll just need to look at it like any 'old' e46.

To me it seems like a bargain basement 3.3 if everything is as it should be.

Just found this thread.
I bought this car in January from the same seller. Got it for 2500. Great motor for the price. Cosmetically it needs the wheels & caps refurbing and a couple of small rust scabs attending to. Interior is fabulous, that buffalo leather is just
Mechanically it needs a pair of front wheel bearings (328i?) and an air mass meter (any tips?.. OE is 300)
Mileage is genuine, got receipts for the services, mostly main dealer and a ton of other receipts, old tax discs, all the mots, log book slips etc etc.
Colour me happy.

If the weather ever stops I'll be going through it with a fine tooth comb but for now she's tucked away. I will be taking plenty of photos but here is a quick one I took with my phone on the way home from buying it.
