Never thought i'd like a Green BM (bar the E36 M3 GT) but that does look really well!

I received photos from Alpina of that car 6 weeks ago :P

The provisional spec of mine Alpina Green, silver stripes, elfenbein and racing green lavalina.

HOWEVER there is a small fly in the ointment.

I had the front bumper scrape* on the Alpina repaired yesterday - and the bodyshop did a full body polish to go with it - and prepped the car back to showroom condition. I am not sure I could bare to part with it

*Not the damage from Italy last summer - but somebody scuffed my front bumper over winter

I have 2 build numbers reserved at present

It really depends on how I want to structure the "fleet" over the next few years. The problem is that each time I jump in the B3 it tugs at my heart strings again - and reminds me why I spent so much time tweaking the specification when I bought it.

On the flipside Alpina has the power curves of the new B3 compared the E90 B3S on their website - the difference is rather substantial - and suggests the new B3S will be mental

I really do not like the front, I think the headlights make it look ridiculous.

If I win the lottery, or the construction sector picks up again ( lottery win more likely), an Alpina Green D3 Touring would be top of my list. And would even go with Gold stripes just to be different. Was it on here, or Twitter, that somebody said most Europeans go for Gold stripes over silver.

The green and gold does work!
Personally waiting for the B4, but that might just be dependant on those pesky numbers!
