E36 M3 3.0 Saloon 1995
I know its not an Alpina, but this may appeal to some on here! I would like to to go to a good home and get taken car of after the number of hours and £1,000's i have spent on it!
Only want to sell it as i have the B3 now and want to concentrate on looking after that.
RARE: Stunning Daytona Violet E36 M3 Saloon LUX - (1995 3.0L)
This car is in very good condition, it has Photographic service history in my ownership, Daytona Violet, 121,000 Miles, Manual, MOT until DEC 2012, tax til May 2012, No finance outstanding, All keys and documentation present and correct.
This car has had a lot of money spent on it over the last year on parts and bodywork.
The car really stands due to the colour and i have lots of comments about the car off people.
Even though its an E36, its quite rare as there were only 415 built, of which I have only ever seen 3 4 door models at shows/ on Auto Trader or EBay in this colour. Note this car is Daytona Violet not Techno Violet which was put on Evo's after 1996.
Here is a list of the spec:
Black Leather Sport Seats
BMW Contours, 7.5x17 fronts and 8.5x17 rears, with a polished lip (really sets it off when polished up)
OEM Spec Brakes with 5.1 Brake Fluid with Brand new rear discs, Brand new OEM spec pads.
Replacement Front and Rear shocks (Evo spec rear) with OEM springs.
Leather in good condition, no holes.
Original BMW Wood effect, cracked as they all do, but whole.
Replacement sports Cat and new lambda fitted with Stainless bolts and copper nuts.
Replacement EVO backbox (stainless steel not steel)
K&N Panel Filter
6x9 rear speakers fitted with proper mounts
New discs and Pads fitted this year (EVO friont Discs)
123,500 miles
Refurbished steering rack
The car has also had new upper arm bushes at the rear and new trailing arm bushes. These have done less than 100 miles. 4 wheel alignment also carried out to confirm that alignment is OK.
The car has recently had the front nose and bumper sprayed to remove all stone-chips and also had the RHS rear door, rear wings and boot lid and under panel stripped and repainted due to mild corrosion. All the inside has been coated in Waxoyl to prevent it happening again. The car is good condition.
As this car is now 17 years old, people are expecting rust all over the place, the car is very solid, no rust worth mentioning, and the car is tight and drives very well. All brake pipes/fuel lines etc in good condition.
The car is built as OEM+ spec as when I got it, it needed mild TLC. The car is great and comes without Traction Control so its more fun to drive with the LSD. The car has manual A/C but will need re-gassing as I have had the condenser repaired, pressure tested but not gassed back up.
I am an Engineer for Ford working on Jaguar/Landrover Products, however was trained by Bentley so quality is my core. I have looked after this car since I had it and spent a lot of time and money on it. This is an appreciating classic and I would like it to go to a good home as I want it to live on. The car was detailed in June and maintained since, coated in Dodo Juice Purple Haze as it befits the car perfectly. Car has always been run on V-Power and this is what it runs best on.
No test drive without licence and proof of insurance
M3 *** Plate not included.
Rear Spoiler is included, but isn't fitted to the car.
Car currenly has the Amber indicator fitted and original grille. Car will come with the option of either amber or clear indicators.
HPI and finance clear. Any inspection welcome.
The car will only be released when in receipt of cleared funds or cash.
No canvassers or tyre kickers.
£3495 OVNO.

You'd think so, but I think in this climate and the rate in which e46 M3's are falling in price, that people don't seem to be paying much more than £4.5k for e36's now.

reminds me of mine too, I had a Daytona violet M3 3.0 saloon and loved every day of the 5 years of ownership! I'd still have it now I'm sure. GLWTS though.
Trouble is e36 M3's are not really seen as anything like the e30 which is a shame, and I can't really see them going into classic territory. But they appear to be at the bottom of their curve so hopefully demand for good ones may see a price increase?

although saying that, a quick look on ebay and I see this:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E36-M3-3- ... 1e761a5dc8
so if this is getting strong bids and actually sells then yours has to sell for good money?
Now just looking at this, here's an evo saloon http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-M3-SALOON ... 2a27ba6051
however the seller says only 22 left on the road? Optimistic as if this is the case I've seen about 8 of those over the past 6mths on my way into and out of Heathrow?

There's no way that the first one has done 90odd thousand miles, look at the state of that seat and it should have vadar's in it! Not a good benchmark!
Second one looks good, will see what that one goes for!

You'd think so...
I would keep mine if I could as long as I could keep it under cover and warm, but I don't have the luxury, also it wouldn't do the car justice sitting out on all weathers waiting for it to appreciate, hence why I would rather sell it to someone who could do it justice and wait for it become a classic!
