F31 D3 BITURBO #042

Post by CaesarBob » Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:47 am

Someone missed a bargain here, the previous keeper was offering this in some of the FB groups around the £25/26k mark a couple of months ago.

Looks nice with a good spec, but the rear seats have some fairly obvious creasing from a pair of car seats.

Interesting it has popped up, I tried to track this one down before I bought mine a few months back, but couldn’t find the owner.

It might be with the dealer on sale or return?

No #040 is currently on autotrader for £27k, 50k miles, good spec HUD, HK, memory seats etc, but no pro Nav. It’s been around for a couple of weeks, so I would be very surprised if #042 sells for anything close to £35k as a pre LCI example.

Very ambitious pricing.

To put into context, a Dec 2017 G30 D5S with 29k and great spec has sold for circa £37k, albeit privately.

Is that #009 Asim? A new whip for you?

Agreed that mid-£30k's is way to much for this. I know it's a saloon but this one has a great spec, including LSD, 20's, Sunroof, Pro-Nav, H/K & HUD and been around since beginning of June.

I would have expected it to be £27k ish, as per the other F31 that's currently for sale. Time will tell, but I can't see it shifting at the current price.

I salute your knowledge CB, yes it was 009. It was a nice car, but black with black is my least favourite combo, and ideally I want sunroof and heads up too. Was a bit of bargain at that price though...

Happy to continue enjoying my old chariot/tractor. Won't be easy to replace, so I won't just yet :)

This D5 is for sale at Uber GT for £44,450

The Melbourne red saloon mentioned above sold in 3 weeks if I remember correctly.

Interesting to know about the red D3, I was only going off the fact they are still advertising it that it was still available.

Ah yes, I should’ve remembered you’re not a fan of black cars and black interiors. You’ll have to continue slumming it in your lavalina lined tractor 😉

Oddly it’s showing on their showroom landing page as sold but when you click thru to the full advert, there’s no mention of being sold

A healthy mark up. Uber do buy some lovely cars, they're just down the road from me too. Do you have a link? Can't see it on their site.

No link I’m afraid. They telephoned me on Wednesday asking if I wanted to buy it.

Always watching out for Alpina F31s. Might sacrifice Xdrive I doing so, but must say I'd struggle to go back to one without HUD. I know the blue dials are ace, but HUD is so good...
