Re: 2003 B3
Just from my experience the shock absorbers will need to be checked thoroughly. My fronts started to leak around this mileage. £1200 for genuine Alpina plus fitting for all four shocks and springs. Gearbox oil change should be done also despite a "lifetime" sealed gearbox. £400+ to do this properly. HTH.

Re: 2003 B3
The spec is almost identical to mine which is number 265. The only way to tell if it's a good prospect is view it and drive it. Try to take someone along who has a knowledge of these cars and isn't "emotionally" involved with it. I've had mine six years now, use it every day and can't see myself parting with it anytime soon. Good ones at this mileage are becoming rarer to find. What is it worth? Find another one? Probably there is some room for negotiation given how long it's been up for sale and then the rest is up to you. Good luck and let us all know how you get on.Avtar wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 2:22 pmThanks, what do you think on this particular Alpina, a good prospect?jolls wrote: ↑Sun Jun 02, 2019 1:21 pmJust from my experience the shock absorbers will need to be checked thoroughly.
